WE MADE IT TO DC!!!

As we are writing this, we are dripping wet because we just got out of the hotel pool. Our trip has been wonderful. The worst thing that has happened is that Logan puked in the van on the way to our hotel. Gross. Our favorite part of the day was flying in the plane. Taking off and landing were great. Landing felt like you were floating in your seat.

The hotel is very nice and awesome. This fish in the Koi pond are like 9 feet long. The clear elevators, the fish, waterfalls, and pool awesome. We made a lot of new friends in the pool. One guy was from California. (NOTE FROM TEACHER: Kinda funny how everyone mysteriously exited the pool as soon as our kids jumped in. )

Tomorrow we are going to the Capitol and to meet Senator David Vitter. We are also going to the Air and Space Museum. The weather is going to be great.

We can't wait until tomorrow! Mrs. Stephanie will post our pics from today later on tonight.

NOTE FROM TEACHER: Logan, Trace, and Clay held hands during take-off. One of them cried out,  "I love you, Momma!".

The 6th Grade Class
